SAN JOAQUIN ASPARAGUS FESTIVAL

At the San Joaquin Asparagus Festival in Stockton, you can hop aboard $10 monster truck rides that are open to all ages, giving everyone from little sprouts to full-grown asparagus fans the chance to climb into a big-tire beast and enjoy a fun, bumpy experience as part of the festival’s carnival-style attractions.

White Rose Forge is a father-daughter blacksmithing duo dedicated to creating both functional and artistic metalwork. Combining modern innovation with traditional blacksmithing techniques, they craft timeless pieces that reflect their passion and skill.

The forge began over a decade ago as a small garage shop run by a single blacksmith. Since then, it has evolved into a family partnership where tradition and creativity thrive. Charles and Somer work side by side, blending generations of expertise with a shared vision for the craft.

At White Rose Forge, their mission goes beyond creating metalwork. They are committed to preserving the art of blacksmithing, a timeless yet endangered trade that has become a way of life for them. Through their work, they strive to share the beauty, history, and enduring relevance of this ancient craft.

Both HO and N scale layouts housed in a 2,400 sq. ft. alcove in building 1. The HO scale layout represents the former Tidewater Southern Branch Line of Western Pacific.

Petting Zoo Food and Pony Rides availabe at an additional cost.

Train Rides available throughout the festival at designated locations marked on the festival map with a train icon.

Enjoy a ride through the festival grounds as the comical train conductor brings a smile to your face and makes you giggle.

2026 ACTIVITIES

We are excited to invite you to participate! You have the exciting opportunity to be a QUEEN, PRINCESS or PRINCE of the festival and represent one of the most prestigious community events in the greater San Joaquin region. The queen crowned at the pageant will serve as the Official Hostess of the 40th Annual San Joaquin Asparagus Festival, which will be held on April 24-26, 2026.

This program was established in 2016 to give girls and women of all ages the unique opportunity to learn and grow from the exciting experience of positive pageantry!

The Midway of Fun is sure to bring excitement to the whole family with their array of amusement rides and games along with good ole fashion carnival food! Brass Ring Amusement’s Midway of Fun is a family owned and operated carnival business which has served the California Fair industry since 1991.

Their goal is to provide you an exciting carnival experience for those both young and young at heart that focuses on providing the following items, all which encompass our values of safety, honesty in entertainment, incredible customer service, and affordability.
